Mezay Ugbo is a Visual Artist and leather designer based in sunny Chennai, India. Her work is inspired by her multicultural background with themes of representation and celebration of women of color.

As an Nigerian-Indian, she has seen firsthand how damaging it can be to not see positive representation. She uses a palette of earthy colors, combining hand painted elements and digital illustration to create minimal yet compelling compositions.
